Alex Pereira and Michel Pereira Are They Brothers or Just Friends
Alright, let’s talk about these two fellas, Michel Pereira and Alex Pereira. Folks keep askin’, are they related? You know, like brothers or cousins or somethin’? Well, from what I hear, they ain’t.
Nope, not brothers, not nothin’. They both got that Pereira name, yeah, and they both come from Brazil, that big country down south. But that don’t make ’em family, no sirree. It’s like havin’ a bunch of Smiths in town – ain’t all of ’em related, ya know?
Now, both these boys, they’re tough as nails. They fight in that UFC thing, on the TV. You know, the cage fightin’ where they punch and kick and wrestle each other? Tough business, that is. I seen ’em on the TV once, all muscled up and sweaty. My grandson, he likes watching that stuff.
Michel, they say he was born in 1993, October the 6th. Young fella, still got a lot of fightin’ in him, I reckon. He fights in the middleweight division, whatever that means. Sounds kinda heavy, though. I heard tell he knows that capoeira stuff, that dancin’ fightin’ they do. Kinda like a jig, but with more kickin’.
- Alex Pereira – that one, he’s got a nickname, “Po Atan”. Sounds like somethin’ you’d call a dog, don’t it? But they say it means “Stone Hand” in some language. He’s got it tattooed on his hand, little rocks and pebbles, so I guess it’s true. Started trainin’ karate when he was just a boy, 12 years old. Imagine that! A little squirt learnin’ to fight.
- Michel Pereira – He don’t have a fancy nickname like “Stone Hand”, but he’s a fighter all the same. Jumps around a lot, does some weird moves. My grandson says he’s exciting to watch. Me, I just close my eyes half the time. Don’t like seeing people gettin’ hurt, you know?
So, you got these two fellas, both from Brazil, both named Pereira, both fightin’ in the UFC. It’s easy to see why folks get confused. But they ain’t related, not by blood anyways. Maybe they’re friends, maybe they just know each other from fightin’. Who knows? It ain’t none of my business, I reckon.
I heard someone sayin’ somethin’ about Alex Pereira competin’ in that Glory Kickboxing before. Kickboxin’, huh? Sounds like a whole lotta leg work. My knees hurt just thinkin’ about it. Guess that’s where he got that “Stone Hand” reputation. Kickin’ and punchin’, that’s all they do. Don’t seem right, but it makes ‘em money, I s’pose.
So, the long and short of it is, they ain’t related. Just two fellas with the same last name, doin’ the same kinda work. Like I said, it’s like havin’ a bunch of Smiths. You can’t go assumin’ they’re all family just ‘cause of the name. Same goes for these Pereiras.
One last thing, I seen someone writin’ about this on the internet, a fella named Arslan Saleem, back in June. June the 12th, to be exact. Folks write about everything on that internet thing, don’t they? Anyways, he was talkin’ about the same thing, whether these two were related. And he said the same thing I’m tellin’ ya – they ain’t.
So there you have it. Don’t go around thinkin’ Michel and Alex Pereira are brothers or somethin’. They just ain’t. Now, go on and do somethin’ useful. Don’t spend all day readin’ about these fightin’ fellas.
