David Beckham FIFA Cards: Ultimate Guide and Review

Alright, let’s gab a bit about this David Beckham fella and his FIFA cards. I don’t know much about these video games, mind you, but my grandson, he’s always yappin’ about ’em. So, I figured, why not try and make some sense of it all for folks like me?

David Beckham, huh? That pretty boy who kicks the ball. Seems like he’s been around forever, kickin’ that ball for all sorts of teams. The game folks, they call ’em “clubs” in their fancy talk. This Ultimate Team thing, it’s like collectin’ cards, but on the computer or somethin’. Grandson says Beckham’s got a whole bunch of ’em.

David Beckham FIFA Cards: Ultimate Guide and Review
  • First off, they got these “ratings.” Like numbers, see? The higher the number, the better the player, I reckon. Beckham, he’s got some high numbers, that’s for sure. Heard tell some of his cards are rated all the way up to 99! That’s gotta be good, right?
  • Then there’s the “positions.” That’s where the fella plays on the field. Beckham, he’s mostly a “RM” or a “CM.” Don’t ask me what that means, but it sounds important. Grandson says it’s somethin’ about right midfield and center midfield. Sounds like he runs around a lot.

Now, these cards, they change every year, it seems. Like, in “FUT 10,” whatever that is, Beckham’s first card was only 82 rated. But then he got better, I guess, ’cause later on, he’s got cards that are 99 rated. That’s a big jump, ain’t it? It’s like goin’ from a little ol’ radish to a big ol’ watermelon. They say he played for four different “clubs” in this Ultimate Team thing. That’s a lot of movin’ around, even for a young fella. Kids these days, always jumpin’ from one thing to another.

And get this, they’ve made a whole bunch of cards for him. Some folks are sayin’ he’s got 10 cards, others say 12, and some even say 26! Land sakes, that’s enough to fill a whole shoebox! I guess it depends on which year you’re lookin’ at and how they’re countin’ ’em. Sounds complicated, if you ask me. Why can’t they just stick to one number, huh?

They even talk about when these cards first came out. Like, in “FUT 21,” his first card was 86 rated. So, he started out good and then got even better, seems like. And this new game, “EA FC 25,” they got even more fancy stuff. You can build your own team and all that. My grandson, he spends hours fiddlin’ with it. I tell ya, kids these days, they got too much time on their hands.

Beckham, he wasn’t just kickin’ balls, you know. He got himself hitched and had a family too. Met his wife when they were young ‘uns, got married, and had their first boy pretty quick. Sounds like he had a lot on his plate, what with the football and the family and all. He even got hurt one year, but still managed to score a bunch of goals. Tough fella, I guess. Sixteen goals in all them “competitions”, they said. That’s a whole lot of kickin’ and scorin’ if you ask me.

So, there you have it. A little bit about David Beckham and his FIFA cards, as best as this old woman can figure it out. He’s a good player, that’s for sure, with lots of cards and high ratings. And he’s got a family too, just like the rest of us. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go make some supper. All this talk about football and video games has made me hungry.

In short, David Beckham is a big deal in this FIFA world. He’s got many cards with high ratings. They are different for each game and they keep making more, so that seems to keep my grandson busy. Whether he played for “clubs” or kicked a ball into a “goal”, or got a “99” on a piece of cardboard- it sounds like he was pretty good at what he did. Now, If you’ll excuse me, my rocking chair is callin’ my name.
