Fantasy Football: Kendre Miller or Vidal – Who to Start Rest of Season?
Alright, listen up, y’all. We gotta figure out this football stuff, this… uh… “fantasy” football, they call it. Sounds like a bunch of hooey to me, but the young’uns are all into it, so I guess I gotta learn somethin’. We’re talkin’ about these fellas, Kendre Miller and… Vidal, was it? Yeah, Vidal. Who’s gonna be the better one for the rest of the season? That’s the big question, ain’t it?
Now, I heard tell that this Kendre Miller fella, he plays for them… New Orleans Saints? Yeah, the Saints. Sounds like a church group, but they play football, I guess. Anyways, they say he scored a touchdown, ran for a bit, 32 yards, they said. That don’t sound like much to me. Back in my day, we ran all over the place, no yard lines or nothin’. But I guess 32 yards and a touchdown is good in this here fancy football game.

They also said somethin’ about him bein’ RB71 last year. What in the Sam Hill does that even mean? Sounds like a bingo number. But I reckon it means he wasn’t so good, huh? Crowded backfield, they said. Too many fellas tryin’ to run the ball, I guess. Like a bunch of chickens fightin’ over the same piece of corn.
- Kendre Miller – Plays for the Saints.
- Scored a touchdown and ran for 32 yards in one game.
- Wasn’t very good last year, somethin’ called RB71.
- Too many other players in the same position.
Now, this Alvin Kamara fella, they say he’s stickin’ around with the Saints too. Signed a new deal, they said. Two years! That’s a long time to be runnin’ around with a football. So, if this Kamara is still there, does that mean Kendre Miller won’t get to play much? That’s what I’m tryin’ to figure out. It’s like havin’ two roosters in the same henhouse. Only one of ’em gets to crow, ya know?
And then there’s this Vidal fella. They didn’t say much about him, did they? Just that we gotta decide between him and Kendre Miller. Well, that ain’t much to go on, is it? It’s like tryin’ to pick a good watermelon without thumpin’ it. You just don’t know what you’re gonna get.
I heard someone sayin’ somethin’ about Miller bein’ 21 years old. That’s just a young’un! Barely dry behind the ears. But maybe that means he’s got a lot of runnin’ left in him, huh? They also said somethin’ about a 29-year-old “plodder” who only got 2.9 yards a carry last year. Sounds like he’s about ready for the glue factory, if you ask me. So maybe Miller has a chance to take his spot, even with that Kamara fella around.
They said if Miller don’t get hurt in practice, he should be good to go. Well, that’s a big “if,” ain’t it? These football fellas are always gettin’ banged up. It’s a rough game, that’s for sure. Reminds me of hog wrasslin’, but with more helmets and pads.
So, what’s the bottom line here? Who should we pick for this fantasy football thing? Well, it sounds like Kendre Miller might have a chance to be good, but he’s gotta compete with that Kamara fella. And we don’t know nothin’ about this Vidal. It’s a gamble, either way. But I guess that’s what makes it fun, huh? It’s like plantin’ seeds in the spring. You never know what’s gonna grow, but you hope for the best. And if it don’t work out, well, there’s always next year, right? Or maybe we should just stick to bingo. At least you know what you’re gettin’ with bingo.
From what I gather, Miller’s got potential, being young and all. If that older fella ain’t doin’ so hot, and Miller stays healthy, maybe he’ll get more chances to run the ball. But with Kamara still around, it’s hard to say for sure. It’s a risk, but sometimes you gotta take a risk to win big. That’s what my husband used to say about buyin’ lottery tickets, though he never won nothin’ but a headache.
So, if I had to choose, I reckon I’d take a chance on Kendre Miller. He’s young, he’s got somethin’ to prove, and maybe, just maybe, he’ll surprise us all. But don’t come cryin’ to me if he don’t pan out. I’m just a simple old woman tryin’ to make sense of this crazy fantasy football game.
