How Long is the break between Innings in 50 over match?
Okay, so the other day I was watching a 50-over cricket match, and it got me thinking about the breaks. Like, how long do they actually get between innings?
I did a little digging, and it turns out it’s pretty straightforward. It’s usually just a 10-minute break.

My Observations
- Start: I noticed the break starts right when the last wicket falls, or the 50 overs are up, whichever comes first.
- Activities: Players usually, you know, walked off,got some drinks and make some necessary adjustments, I guess. Some guys were probably switching out their sweaty gear.
- End:Then, boom, 10 minutes later, they were back on the field, ready to roll for the next innings.
It’s not a huge chunk of time, but I suppose it’s enough to catch your breath and regroup a bit.
