Keenan Allens Performance: Time to Drop Him From Your Roster?

Alright, listen up, y’all. We gotta talk about this Keenan Allen fella, the football player. Some folks are sayin’ he ain’t worth keepin’ on your team no more, and I’m here to tell ya what I think, plain and simple.

Now, I ain’t no fancy football expert, but I know a thing or two about holdin’ onto what’s good and gettin’ rid of what ain’t. Keenan Allen, he used to be a real star, catchin’ balls left and right. But lately? Things ain’t lookin’ so hot.

Folks are whisperin’ that the Bears, that’s his team, they might be lookin’ to replace him. They’re talkin’ about gettin’ some other fella named Chris Godwin next year. Now, Godwin, he’s been doin’ alright, but that ain’t the point. The point is, if they’re thinkin’ ’bout gettin’ someone new, that means they ain’t too happy with Keenan.

And it ain’t just the team, it’s the way he’s been playin’. Folks are sayin’ he ain’t catchin’ the ball like he used to. Droppin’ it, messin’ up plays. That ain’t gonna win ya no games, I tell ya.

  • He ain’t playin’ so good lately.
  • The Bears might get someone else.
  • He’s droppin’ the ball too much.

Now, some folks are still holdin’ onto him, hopin’ he’ll get better. They’re sayin’ maybe he’s just havin’ a bad spell, or maybe he’s hurtin’ a bit. And that’s possible, I ain’t denyin’ it. But how long you gonna wait? Football season ain’t forever, ya know. You gotta win games now, not next year.

I heard someone sayin’ he’s become a “matchup dependent WR2/WR3”. Whatever that means. Sounds like fancy talk for “sometimes he’s good, sometimes he ain’t”. And that ain’t good enough for me. I want a player who’s good all the time, someone you can count on.

And this talk about injuries, that’s worryin’ too. They say he’s missin’ games, sittin’ on the bench. Can’t help the team if you ain’t playin’, that’s for sure. Head coach, Matt somebody, said he ain’t gonna play in a game ’cause he’s hurt.

So, what’s a body to do? Well, if it was me, I’d be lookin’ around for someone else. There’s plenty of other fellas out there who can catch a ball. Why stick with someone who’s lettin’ ya down? Fantasy football is about winnin’, not about bein’ loyal to a player who ain’t performin’.

Some folks are sayin’ you might be able to get him late in the draft, like the seventh or eighth round. But even then, I ain’t so sure. There’s other players out there who might be a better bet. Why gamble on someone who might not even play, or who might drop the ball when it matters most?

Look, I ain’t sayin’ it’s an easy decision. Keenan Allen, he used to be a real good player. But things change, ya know? People get older, they get hurt, they lose their touch. And when that happens, you gotta be ready to move on. Don’t get stuck holdin’ onto somethin’ that ain’t workin’ no more.

Dropping Keenan Allen might seem harsh, but sometimes you gotta make tough choices. It’s like gettin’ rid of an old mule that can’t plow the field no more. You feel bad about it, but you gotta do what’s best for the farm. And in fantasy football, what’s best for the farm is winnin’ games.

So, there you have it. My two cents on this Keenan Allen situation. Take it or leave it, it’s up to you. But remember, this game is about makin’ smart choices, not about holdin’ onto the past. If he ain’t catchin’ balls, he ain’t worth keepin’. That’s all there is to it.
