Top Valorant Strats: Learn from the Pros and Climb

Well now, let’s talk about this Valorant thing. My grandkid, he’s always yappin’ about it. Says it’s some kind of shootin’ game, like them old cowboy movies, but with more… glowy stuff. He keeps yellin’ ’bout “strats” and “agents” and I’m just sittin’ here thinkin’, “What in tarnation?”

So, I watched him play a bit. Looks complicated, all this jumpin’ and shootin’. Reminds me of them chickens back on the farm, always flappin’ around. But he says you gotta have a plan, a “strat,” if you wanna win. Said somethin’ ’bout payin’ attention, like watchin’ the pot on the stove so it don’t boil over. You gotta keep your eyes peeled, that’s what he says.

Now, this “agent” business, that’s somethin’ else. Seems like each one’s got their own special somethin’. Like that one with the fire, reminds me of my old wood stove, always burnin’ hot. And that other one with the sneaky stuff, like that ol’ fox that used to steal chickens. My grandkid said somethin’ about learnin’ all them agents, like learnin’ all the tools on the farm, each one’s for somethin’ different. So you got your diggin’ tools and your cuttin’ tools. Same kinda thing with these agent fellers.

  • Pickin’ the right agent is important, like pickin’ the right seed for plantin’.
  • Gotta know what they do and how they work together, just like knowin’ which cow gives the best milk.
  • And if you don’t know? Well, you’re gonna be stuck in the mud, that’s for sure.

Then there’s this “aim” thing. My grandkid, he’s always flickin’ that mouse around, like he’s swatting flies. Says you gotta be quick and accurate, like shootin’ squirrels with a BB gun. He told me somethin’ about practicin’ aim, like practicin’ pitchin’ horseshoes. Gotta do it over and over till you get it just right. And no slouchin’! That’s what he says when I’m hunched over my knittin’. Says you gotta sit up straight, be a hard target. Makes sense, I guess. Harder to hit a scarecrow than a plump chicken.

And the maps? Lordy, there’s a bunch of ’em. Each one’s different, like different fields on the farm. Some got lots of cover, some got long open spaces. You gotta learn ’em, he says. Know where to hide, where to attack, where to run away real fast. Like knowin’ where the good fishin’ spots are, or where the berries grow best. Gotta adapt, that’s the word he used. Like a farmer adjustin’ to the weather. If it’s rainin’, you plant different seeds. If it’s sunny, you do somethin’ else. Same with them maps, gotta change your plan dependin’ on where you are.

Communication is another big thing. My grandkid’s always yellin’ at his friends through that headset thingy. Says you gotta tell your team what’s goin’ on. Like hollerin’ across the field to let your neighbor know the cows are out. Gotta work together, that’s what he says. Can’t be goin’ off on your own, like a lone wolf. You’ll get picked off faster than a chicken in a fox den. Need to tell them when you see somebody, or when you need help, or when you’re gonna do somethin’ fancy.

He also told me somethin’ about them ranks. Seems like everyone’s tryin’ to get to the top, like climbin’ a greasy pole at the county fair. Said somethin’ about bein’ average, and then better than average. Sounds like judgin’ pigs at the livestock show. Some pigs are good, some pigs are better, and some pigs are the best. He wants to be the best, that’s for sure. He’s always practicin’, tryin’ to get better. He spends hours in front of that computer, shootin’ and yellin’. Reminds me of my husband when he used to go huntin’. Always talkin’ about strategy and gettin’ the best shot. Guess some things never change, even with these newfangled games.

So, that’s what I’ve gathered about this Valorant thing. It’s about plannin’, pickin’ the right character, shootin’ straight, learnin’ the maps, workin’ as a team, and tryin’ to be the best. Sounds like hard work, to be honest. I’d rather be in my garden but these young’uns, they like their glowy boxes. But if you wanna win, you gotta do all that stuff. And you gotta keep practicin’, just like anything else in life. Like my grandma always said, “Practice makes perfect, even if you’re just pluckin’ chickens.”
